Ouch Babe!
It all started out at Kmart - I was buying a small Craftsman toolbox on sale to take to the Texas Mile with me. I knew the workbench and five-drawer toolbox was not going to be installed in my new trailer before I left for Texas, so I need something to use for the trip.
There was YOUNG FOX in the sporting goods section - you know the type - dirty blond hair, slim waist, wearing those low riding jeans; a natural beauty with no need for makeup.... I was thinking if I were only younger, I would have her phone number in less then 10 minutes.
Fate it seems, is not without a since of irony.....
As I'm driving down the parking lot lane, my phone buzzes (H.K. Phooey - no less) and before I can reach into my shirt pocket -
-- WHAMMMM --
That little honey backs out of her parking spot and into my SRT6. Well - I'm not the type of guy that can get mad anyway so we exchange info (I did end up getting her phone number - it just took 20 minutes - Damn - I'm getting old.) The worst part was - - it was one of the only times I didn't have my camera with me - otherwise you would be enjoying a shot of her. She was pleasant which helped make a bad situation a little more tolerable.
The damage seems to be isolated to the front driver-side fender. The bumper, hood, tire & rim were spared. Only a minor chip in the door when I opened it and it rubbed on the bent fender. I doubt I can have it fixed before I leave for the Texas. Its probably going to create enough drag to penalize me 8-15 MPH.

Re: Ouch Babe!
Wow, just goes to show it can happen at any moment. At least it was at parking lot speed. Sorry for the bad luck right before the Teaxs mile. Hope you can get it repaired or at least pulled out some before you leave for Texas. Good luck and keep us informed. A lot of us are watching with great interest.

If that would have been me backing into your car, you would have flipped your lid but a Babe and well all the anxiety is calmed! Gotta love the power of beauty!
Well hope your ride is easily recovered and yes it is great that there was minimal damage to the door!
Glad it wasnt worse.
