Default MD SRT6 car sold on Ebay

I am about 99.9% sure that this is MD SRT6's car that just sold for $18,100. I waited until the auction ended to post this however. That is a steal with those low miles, but I will venture to say that this is the "hardest run" SRT6 on the road. He was spraying nitrous through this motor with 66 miles on the odo. The item number is: 290298788170 incase the link goes dead, remember this is a completed listing.

Last I remeber it was loosing coolant probably a head gasket. I guess his son didn't want it. My son drives mine and drives it like an old lady. It is only too fast if you can't control the throttle

I think your right. These cars are pretty stout, I don't think anything would be wrong wit it.

Depending on the inservice date it's probably still under warranty. The new owner can take it in and have it addressed, if there is anything wrong with the car. It's a great price still.

I'm sadder for the poor guy who bought it, driven only for short trips with 150hp nitrous shots

To be fair to MD SRT6, his EBay listing mentioned a load aftermarket engine goodies were available or still installed on the beast, so any motorhead would know this wasn't some little old lady's Sunday-go-to-church car. So I give him props for honesty!

Yes thats my car that was up for sale, 3 hours after auction the guy told me he wanted to buy it with mods ( tune, pulley and cai )for an extra $1400.00 and then three hours later said he had to back out because he just got a job transfer to Portugal ! That's why I was hesitant to put it on e-bay, all the lurkers with big wishes and even worse excuses. Anyway I was going to sell the car because it's just too much for my son ( I bought him a new Hyundai Elantra, "a better kids car" ) And I am concentrating on my Camaro right now. And no there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car it is perfect, had oil changed after every track event with mobil one etc...and is still under factory warranty. Anyway I have decided I'm not going to give it away, If I cant get atleast 18K for it without the mods, I'll keep it and put her back to full power and then some, I may try e-bay one more time, as there were other bidders. If it don't sell, I'll see some of you guys at the track this summer!

Good for you. More people need to have the attitude not to give their SRT's away.

I just went thru the opposite on a race trailer - but it's a buyer market out there - so I'll be patient

Glad to here you took good care of that bad boy!!

But I have to say - that if I had a son - there would be no Hyundai in the driveway.

He needs to grow up sooner then later. Put the Elantra on Ebay and give him that Bad Boy!

Then intsall a mod for every "A+" grade in school and chance to race dad on the weekend.

I agree 100%, but he showed very little interest in the car , and never wanted to go to the track at all. Plus he's a little lazy about taking care of the car ie. washing/waxing. So I just got him an econo hoopty and I took it back! I'll either sell it under the right conditions or put it back like it was and enjoy it myself !
