Default LET Dyno Tune in NJ

Went to LET Dyno tuning today in Garwood NJ. I was the only crossfire, the rest were Mercedes owners, real nice group of guys. I also meet Anthony fron TVT. I will see if I can down load the video, but you tube states it doesn't except the format???. Anyway with mods listed in sig car laid down 377hp/378tq plus or minus 2 points in either direction for 5 pulls. Injectors are about maxed out 86% duty cycle which is about 13.2 AFR. Couldn't really correct any more so I decided to have Wayne pull out 100rpms from the rev limiter which put me right at 12.8 AFR. Everybody liked the exhaust and it really scremed inside the shop. I was surprised that the hp/tq levels were the same. Anyway the car pulled like an animal on the ride home BIG THUMBS UP TO WAYNE AND COMPANY FROM LET

That's sweet!! - Dyno tunes are so much better then remote tunes because you can tweak and adjust on the spot to get her dialed in. Plus you get to see the results realtime.

Enjoy all that power.....

Jake, have you guys set up a crossfire with larger injectors yet??. It was about 50 degrees in the shop and that air temp with the 181 and custom intake plenums seems to pretty much be the end of the fuel supply. Time to see what the next limit is

Hey Bulldogger, was LET in town just for this? Or do they actually have a shop set up in NJ that I was unaware of?! PS I'm from S.Jersey, roughly 25 minutes outside of Philly.

No they don't have a shop. They were using the Dyno from 1320 Performance Inc. Alex from the Mercedes forum made arrangements to have them come down for the day.

cross><hair, sounds like we need to get Wayne back at some point for another tune and dyno. I'ld be up for that as I'm at the stage for a good custom tune. (as he says with no idea how much it costs)

Most definitely! I know I can get at least one other person for sure- Chris (DistantPulse) would be all over this too. I just don't visit the Merc forums to have even known about this event.

bubba69 (Brandon) is right down the road also and unless he's already tuned he might be a candidate.

Yeah I'd definitly be interested unless I decide to go crazy and get some intake manifolds and an exhaust over the summer but definitly keep the crossfire community in the loop we need tunes just as much as the mercs.

I went to the MBworld.org site and found the thread for the tune. If we were to decide that it's something we want, we could probably get more interested from both sites. I'm sure someone there were not able attend.

That a good question I'm hoping Wayne from LET would chime in. He has the graph and Dyno run. Car has a 181 pulley so I would guess 18lbs boost. I had gauges in the last 3 cars I built and this time my wife said she didn't want any, Sooo I don't have any. Good thing was car went lean near end of rpms so I know there is no belt slippage. I picked up 13-15hp from the tuning but the throttle responce and performance on the ride home was awsome. Anytime between 45-55 you would half throttle it, it would spin the rears.
