Beaner ... I must say, that sure looks a lot better than I'd thought it would ... congrats ...

 

The black roof on Beaners car, reminds me of the 1st. generation Acura NSX. Not a bad car to emulate when you think about it.

 

after all the comments you were getting, it came out looking great. glad to see that you went with what YOU wanted...

 

Kudos for having the courage to do this; however, I think it ruined the lines of the coupe in favor of convertible lines. Definitely different. Not for everyone, but who cares what others think?

 

I'd have painted the windshield surround as well. Too much silver on the darker colored cars.

 

Ohh yeaa I had many many negitive comments before I had it done, about 9:1 . but I was going for something a little different and it worked. The worse thing that could have happened is I would not like it then I just get the whole car done black. win-win situation.

 

I like that look msheredy, especially the first one.

As I dream (pipe) about customizing my red one, I come up with a variety of ideas. So I thank all of you who custom their XF, I may have to wait a few years when my kids are out of college.
