SRT-6 Asking Price
SRT-6 Asking Price
May I get user insight as to some prices one should be asking for on a good SRT-6? is $15,000 a solid number? Is this paying to much or too little? I plan to buy soon and would like to make an informed decision.
"Good Crossfire SRT-6" would be 35,000 miles or less, clean car fax
Thanks!

I think that is a fair to good price for a coupe, roadsters go a bit more.
I keep looking for a 2nd that would be an SRT.
Good shopping..
Do you own a Crossfire now ??

No matter how you look at it, $15,000 is an excellent price considering they cost $46k+ new when they were released in 2005.... What a bang for the buck, which is the reason why buy anything else. AMG drivetrain with AMG brakes for such a little price. I'm still amazed and always will be.

I think it is pathetic that people expect to offer you $15,000 for an SRT. This never ending cycle is what is causing all of our cars to be worth next to nothing. It makes no difference to me that sellers in the past were fine with letting theirs go around that price and loosing their shorts in the process. That was their mistake but that does not mean the mistake has to continue forever. It is all up to what the market will withstand and you, the seller dictate the future.

That is my point. That is only valid for the person buying that needs or wants to obtain a loan. I understand the way it works but my point though is "everything is for sale, you just have to want it more than I do" so the owners need to set the price. I don't know how many were allocated for the US but let's say out of the 2016 built, 1800 came to the US. Deduct the ones that are no longer in service due to accidents etc., there just isn't that many out there compared to many other cars. This could very well be one of the best performance values going today but $15,000? Give me a break.

Well I am going to test drive one tomorrow. Asking price from the dealership is $15,888 with 35k miles in excellent condition. If I think I can live with it I am going to buy it as at this price I don't see a lot of downside. Limited numbers, only example of failed Daimler/Chrysler means it should hold this value. My question is about the harsh suspension. I have heard this wears on you and there is a lot of interior noise. Like some comments on this from owners. Also I have taken the convertible and hard top version of the limited for a test drive and liked the convertible version, but the hard top was scary with its limited vision. Comments would be appreciated.
Re: SRT-6 Asking Price
I have driven both. I own a roadster. Blind spot is there. With top down
much better, of course. I have just learn to put mirrors way out. It is hard to get used to at first, but that is why you have the interior mirror.
I have taken my car on 7-8hr cruises. I find it more comfortable on my back than any car I've driven. I don't think I could own an SRT in the east. Our roads in the west are excellent. No pot holes.

It is simple really,
If you can find a better car for $15,000, "buy it"
There are some out there for less. There are many out there right now for a little more, say $21K to $25K They are a steal at any of these prices. Buy one and don't feel guilty that you stole it.
I did, and I don't.

I think I drove this car after you at the Jag Dealership in Tysons Corner. I'm looking for a roadster but wanted to get a feel for the engine and rest of car first.
If I was in the market for a coupe I would've snatched it up myself.
Re: SRT-6 Asking Price
I've driven my roadster three times from western MI to CT, non-stop, and enjoyed every minute of it. It and the SRT6 have done trips to middle of WI, about 350 miles each way, without any strain. These are fun to drive cars, unless you're going through pot holes (most of MI highways) or construction zones. Then it's a little rough.
