By the way, I have a special Option from AMG which is called the M-Mode. When I shift manually, the tranny holds the gear and does not shift at redline. For example when I'm in M-Mode I can give WOT in 5th gear, and the tranny does not shift back. Its fun from time to time to use the full torque without shifting back. But normally I drive in Automatic-Mode.
The M-Mode was a option which you could buy from AMG, but they don't offer it anymore. They now are more focused on the newer cars like the C63...

My tune is from the German "Tuning-Pope" O.Neumann / from Evotech Germany who did my ECU and TCU.

I think boost differ on every single car a little bit, depending on outside temperature, condition of the supercharger, little boost-leaks etc.). Also when you remove 2 of the catalytic converters for better flow, or use a free flowing exhaust, the boost should be a little lower.

I have to interject that I am running 20 PSIG ON THE MANIFOLD with my 178. This is due to the dual inlet CAI which alone is good for 1PSIG gain due to the elimination of the 1 PSIG vacuum loss at the throttle body inlet and due to the gasket matching work I did on the intake manifold. See the posting I did on porting and matching from early last year.
This is in the 40 to 50 degree ambient range of temps. I also do not see that the removal of the second cats caused any loss in boost. I did not see this to be the case.

Good questions, no there were not done at MIR.
Work was done when the Data logger went in and I added stainless to the fastners for the exhaust bolts.
THe note became a bit louder, idle was without change as was light cruise speeds. No drone currently at all, That is nerve racking and a pain and I cant get rid of it in my 73 Challenger 6 Pac.
Hitting it, it is a bit louder and it helped the power a TINY, after I get the F/A problem / design fixed Ill dyno it to prove the concept and verify my approach.
See ya at MIR again I hope.

Thanks for the info, I would guess you would see a 3 to 5 whp gain with removing those rear cats. I was hoping it would give a slight increase in sound on the outside without giving you a headache when driving the car on the interstate.
I think I will go for it in a month or so

Seems like the new C3 "Mid-Size" SC-Pulley for the 178mm-Users is coming soon. Interesting how big it will be... I estimate something near 70mm.
