I think dumping more fuel in is the answer but in the next few weeks i hope to have this thing figured out...
as far as the 185, im not necessarily concerned about it being an engine killer, but I am not liking how it runs really lean or out of fuel or SOMETHING uptop when it loses power.
OUT OF CURIOSITY: has anyone compared trap speeds OR dyno results with a car with a 181 TUNED and a car with a 185 TUNED to see how the topend drop off on the 185 really compares? I mean, if it is really dropping off, wouldnt a car with a 181 tuned potentially outrun or outdyno or outtrap a car with a 185 tuned (of course, minus manifolds, injectors, or whatever might be the problem with cars with 185s right now)

The only one who has a successfully 185mm setup without fuel issues is BrianBrave. He don't race, but does say he canyon drives hard. So he has to reach full boost at some point. BrianBrave chime in and give your 2 cents. You are also the only one who has the 185mm and a Speed Innovations tune. Or any other tune besides a LET tune. Does anyone with a 185mm have an InMotion tune?
EDIT: Brian did respond on 240's thread, no issues with his tune.

When I first installed the 185 pulley I was concerned about running lean (per the MB owners) but with the factory tune, 185 pulley, SL55 intake and iridium plugs (no other mods) - My A/F ratio was 10.5 and climbed to 10.8 at 5800 RPM when I went in for tune.
Perhaps its the SRT6 external fuel pump VS the C32/SLK32 internal fuel tank mounted pumps?
If my SRT6 can run that rich with a 185mm pulley - then only a tune or some other after market modification can make your SRT6 run lean or to run out of fuel at WOT - - IMO.
When my ECU tune was set - I ran a 12.5 AFR @ 6150 RPM with the O2 sensor placed deep into the tail pipe. That was 2/9/08 on a DynoDynamics.
I would suggest data logging, an AFR gauge or putting your SRT6 on a dyno prior to any performance mod to get a baseline reading. Then install the pulley and get another reading - then have your SRT6 tuned and more readings.
Dyno's are the best because you can see the before and after results and rest assure your SRT6 is running correctly.

Re: 178mm ASP Pulley Kit for sale
It's the tune IMO, but also to get accurate AFR readings a new o2 sensor should be installed between the 1st and 2nd cat, and also it has to be at the right angle.
The only way to really see if BrianBrave's tune is optimized for the 185's full potential is a few little 1/4 mile runs to see if 11's are obtained.

Re: 178mm ASP Pulley Kit for sale
In my opinion, like Brian said, there are no fuel issues with the 185mm Pulley, a proper tune in combination with the stock manifolds. Jerry of LET also tested this when the 185mm pulley was released. The problems appeared, if one tried to go even bigger than with the 185mm and I think the aftermarket manifolds also make a difference.
I'm not starting a new 178mm vs. 185mm thread, but I am also very happy with my Pulley-Configuration which is a 178mm ASP with 71mm downsized SC-Pulley. Its about the same Ratio like the 185mm. No issues, no problems so far.

Re: 178mm ASP Pulley Kit for sale
Its snowing here in Germany No 1/4 mile. I logged my timing, IATs and boost a lot. Its all about how long you stay on the throttle. 1/4 mile is no problem because its only about 11-12 Seconds WOT. No timing being pulled. The problem is when you are longer on throttle especially in 4th and 5th on the Autobahn when you really drive hard under Load. Then the IATs will rise and you have to do a lot of cooling mods to fight against it. But in daily driving or a short blast up to 140-150 Mph everything is fine with the 185mm. Very fast building boost in the low and midrange and immeadiate blast when you kickdown. This is fun and the most important thing for me in daily driving.

My tune is from the German "Tuning-Pope" O.Neumann / from Evotech Germany who did my ECU and TCU.
