Re: best tires ?
I just picked these up on ebay today, but I don't think they will fit on your stock wheels.

The best performance tires that come in 19's would be the Bridgestone RE01R, also consider the new Toyo R888 or Kuhmo Ecsta XS. I was gonna go with the RE01R but had trouble finding a set, so I'm dropping down to 18's and going with the Mickeys. I don't do a lot of corner carving on the street but I will need to get a whole new set of wheels/tires for auto-x next season.
I'm also selling my Sumotomo HTRZIII 235/40/18-275/30/19 for $400 with only 5000 miles on them. They are a pretty good tire for the money with a 300 treadwear.

Re: best tires ?
This being my daily driver, and the potential to hit some Winter weather, I just dropped my Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s for the Pilot Sport AS (All Seasons). So far so great, and they are much better in wet conditions.
I also looked at the Goodyear Eagle F1 all-seasons, as I am VERY happy with my Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on my other sportscar, but the TireRack reviews for the Michelins were a bit better overall.
Its hard to go wrong with tires for our cars since most of the low-profile large-diameter tires are very highly-rated good performers.

I agree. I have not had a better tire on the car than the stock Michelins. Now, they are for sure 3-season tires, but if you are in an area that doesn't have winter conditions, they are perfect.
The Goodyear All-Season F1s I have on my car right now are good, but HEAVY and NOISY. They don't have the light, but grippy feel of the Michelins, but they work in the winter for me.
