My Christmas gift to those that run meth on their cars.

I uploaded a methanol mixing calculator (and threw in my nitromethane mixing calculator on the last tab) along with a source for those that use alcohol injection.

You can get your methanol from several sources, some go to a speed shop and get the 5 gallon jugs to get the cheapest price on it. I think it is easier to get -20 PEAK blue windshield washer fluid at walmart ($1.60/gallon), that way you do not have to buy jugs of methanol, jugs of filtered water (do not use tap water!) and then mess with mixing it. (WARNING: Only use BLUE washer fluid, the other colors have anti-freeze/glycol in them which you do not want to spray!!)

Some people buy bottles of heet to increase the % of methanol in the washer fluid if you want to run a 50% or 70% meth mix. You can get it for around $1.00 a bottle or you can buy meth by the gallon at speed shops for around $5.00/gallon.

The more water you use, the more cooling effect it has. The more methanol you use the higher the octane and more it is used as a fuel.

The higher the methanol % the richer your car will run but the less it cools. That is why most people like to run a 50/50 mix or so depending on what effect you want it to have. Just datalog your car and experiment until you get the effect you want.

The more nitromethane you use, the more power you make and your car will run a little leaner. If you run a good balance of nitro/methanol then it will balance itself out. Do not run any higher than 10% nitromethane to be safe. If you order your nitromethane mix from the website I included on the calculator you should not have any issues with it seperating. (Warning: If you try and mix it yourself and screw up the ratios then you run the risk of it seperating and if that happens it could mean trouble. You do not want the nitro to seperate from the meth/water mix then pool at the bottom of your tank. If that happens and you spray 100% nitromethane you run the risk of going lean, running really hot and screwing up your motor.)
