How much have people paid for these contracts?
I understand it varies from dealer to dealer and since I pick up the car on Friday I''d like to be in a knowledgeable position to negotiate.
Re: 50% off chrysler service contract
I understand there's a posting out there on the controversial issue regard what's covered and what's not. However, here's my contribution:
I got an extended service contract with Chrysler for $1,200 (after the 50% off). It's the Max Care warranty with $100 deductible for 7years/70k miles. The literature I have states you can receive a Garmin (Nuvi 255W) navigation unit with the purchase of a service contract, however, if you get the Garmin, the discount is only 25% off. Not worth it to get the Garmin obviously since the unit retails for $200 and you can get it way cheaper even if you shop around. The number I called was (800) 639-6366. Offer ends Dec 31st, 2008 and there's 0% financing on the deal.

I won't comment on the possibility either way.
