Default Used 12v battery, couldn't feel I/C water pump?

Just curious... How well should you be able to feel the I/C pump working? I really didn't feel anything when I hooked up a little 12v battery to it. I swear I heard a click each time I hooked the battery up but I didn't hear anything else or feel water moving.

Maybe I was using the wrong battery... it was just a really small 12v thing...

Well, cool.

The I/C pump receives a pulsed 12 volt signal generated from the pulse module. But I'm sure the pump runs on straight 12 volt also.
Do this,
Pinch off the red hose just above where the red and yellow meet.
On your coolant recovery tank (CRT) there is a small diameter hose (yellow) that feeds into the top of the CRT. Open the CRT (cool engine please), pull the afore mentioned hose off and hold it in the mouth of the CRT. Have someone start the car, give it a rev or two, and you should get water flowing through the yellow tube into the CRT. Pump works!

Picture should look familiar, took it from a previous post you read! Thanks whoever!

If the pump is running it is quiet, but it does vibrate to the touch. You can pinch the hoses mentioned and you should feel the pressure trying to go thru it, its capable of enough pressure to notice. Enjoy WOody
