Since no one from Tucson has designated a Tucson meeting spot I'm gonna propose that we meet at the Jack in the Box at Ina Road and I-10. It's just east of I-10 exit 248. Should be able to see it from the highway.
Now we need a time. I'm thinking 0700. Agree? Disagree?

Ok guys have a question for Jturkel and SteveWRX. Jturkel do I have your buddies on the list? SteveWRX is your wife driving the WRX? Right now we are going to split the bracket race half crossfires/ half mercedes to run each other in first round. The other cars can race each other during the first round, and get back in line as quick as they want to keep making passes. We all will get at least 3 passes before we set up the bracket race. When everyone feels good about their pass, we'll get it started. If you want to grudge match anyone just let me know. It don't have to be heads up, I can set it up as a bracket race to be fair.
So far here are some ideas for the trophies, feel free to make suggestions.
Low ET Crossfire
Low ET MB
Farthest Traveled
Slow Mo Award
Best reaction time
Highest trap speed
Best Appearing Car Peoples Choice
Best Overall Package - means combination of getting closest to dial in and best reaction time.
West Coast Shootout Champion 2008
West Coast Shootout Runner-up 2008

Just to clarify, it's $25 per driver/car or $15 to spectate. We need more Crossfire representation. If we don't have enough xf's and mb's for the bracket race I can fill the spots with members friends that are coming. Everyone signed up on the list will run in our lane all you want until track closes for the day. If anyone wants to stay for the night session, you will have to pay again beginning at 7pm.

My cuz is an Army lifer. Not sure about him, he's a cowboy fan.
Ok on the bracket race, as long as you sign up here your good to go. There are only a few cars that aren't xf's or mb's, so it's cool. So much for capping it off, were at 22 but can't go too many more.

That's ok, glad you can join us. That does remind me to let everyone know if you think your car will be running faster than 14 seconds you will need a helmet. Aprroved helmets are either dot or snell rated on the inside with a sticker. Roncosrt6 is anyone coming with you?
That goes for everybody I'd like to get and idea on spectators coming with you so I can have plenty of food. I'll post the number next to your name.

CRUZINQUICK, At this point I'm not sure if I will make it at all, but assuming I do, I will only be spectating.
I appreciate your diligence keeping this thing on track.
Re: Who's up for a our own West Coast Shootout
I will be there in spirit...............it would be nice to see a big gathering of Crossfires racing.
Last open track night here I actually got another guy from out of town(not on the boards) to come and race his aero blue SRT-6 roadster. That was a record showing of TWO crossfires in one night.

InMotion has a 3 day turnaround. I send off monday and get back wednesday. Overnight each way of course.
It's going to be fun guys. I went tonight and the track wasn't as prepped as it will be for our race. I managed a 12.03, 12.05, 12.06 all at 115mph plus. It was nice and cool.

I did "ok" and ran a 12.36 @113.07 with a 1.85 60'. I was expecting more out of the car since I added the modded OEM mani's and had the car retuned for 100pump............but ran the exact same time as I did without the mani's and on a JACKED UP E85 tune.
A couple of my coworkers ran in the thanksgiving PSCA event and did good. My boss qualified #1 in the 9.60 class by dialing in a 9.6 and running a 9.600 on his second qualifying pass.
