Yes limited's too. Heck NewCrossfire loves to hit the track down there in Tucson as much as I do. Anybody else on dates. If MikeR is coming he's coming the farthest so I'd be more willing to accomodate the date he prefers. I'm open any of those dates. The 14th would guarantee cool weather.
There's going to be one more Crossfire in Tucson, at least for a couple of days after our Sunday meet. Yep, thought I might as well cruise down and see my sis/bro in law on Monday and Tuesday. So count me in sounds like fun!

Brent, this sounded a lot easier than organizing something within walking distance.

Wow this is turning into quite an event haha.

I've already scheduled Monday the 15th off from work so I don't have to be depressed driving home from the meet on a Sunday night

So hopefully the Tucson guys can drive up together, that would probably be pretty cool....

Poor me, my gf said "I won't go, you can go and have fun alone I don't want to get in the way". Yeah, poor me.

bump, possible date change. Looks like track has changed the schedule and is closed on the 14th. The 13th is a good day as a big race will be happening, but more cars will be running. The good thing is there will be saturday night races as well. The night session starts at 7pm, so cooler weather and a great track from the previous race could be a good mix. Let me know how many are still in if we change to the 13th.

Default West Coast Shootout Official DATE CHANGE 12/13/2008 9am gates open

Due to track schedule changes I have moved the date to the 13th of December. Gates open at 9am, and we will have our own lane. Probably the normal 3 qualifying sessions and then trophy eliminations just for us. After that you can run all you want until the track closes that evening. If you still want more you can pay to race the night session at 7pm for the record breaking times. The track will be prepped very well as there will be an NHRA King of the Track event by invitation only going on. As stated before $25 to race and $15 to spectate. Either PM or post here to reverify if your coming.

Also it's peak season out here for hotels with snow birds in town. I may be able to get some rooms around $55 a night, but need a count asap. Also for those of you with military history, can get together and rent a 3 bedroom from Luke Air Force Base for like $60 a night. Let me know asap.

The 13th looks better for me. Gives me Sunday to recuperate.
Change me from "undecided" to "pretty much maybe".

I'm 1.5 hours or so from Tucson. When and where are the Tucson folks meeting at? Maybe a little earlier for a breakfast meet before we go?

Mr. Cruzinquick, I still plan on showing up sometime during the day. I'm not sure if I'll be comin' from Tucson or what. Can I get a few cell phone numbers so I can Find you guys. Some of the Tucson cells would be good too, Since I will be in that town sooner or later and might even drive up with the guys. I'm not sure about the posting of personal information rule, what exactly does that mean? Is there a protocall for getting phone numbers?

Would someone else that's going, preferably from Tucson Pm me a cell number in case someone's Cruzin' too quick and doesn't make it lol Seriously, I'm a firm believer in Murphy's law. A second number would be insurance. Thanks, MM

Like I said we always can stay for the night session and pay again. If I have enough interest I can see if we can get a discount. Heck if I'm not in the 11's by then I'll probably stay for the night session.
