I've only had my SRT6 for a couple of weeks, and have been having quite a bit of fun with it.

One thing that I was somewhat unimpressed with was the throttle lag from the Mercedes electronic throttle control (I know, I really need a Sprintbooster), so last night I was messing around with the "manual" autostick shifting, and wow what a difference, it's much more responsive. It's smart enough to upshift if you over-rev, but it's also fairly liberal when up/down shifting.

I like it!

What's next....disable traction control ?

Once you step up to that too, you will truly know what this beast is made of.

Sprint booster is a whole different world, should get it soon so you can practice driving it before the winter. It is wild. ENJOY Woody

You mean some of you actually drive with the traction control on? That get's turned off when I'm reaching for my seat belt.

Yesterday I took a friend for a ride, and everytime I tried to nail it to break it loose I could feel the traction control kick in - DRATS!!

I need to add that to the check list right after the seat belts too

Enjoy and that's before you add any mods. You will learn how to feather that throttle and get the most out of your stock tires. Soon that won't do and you'll be looking for an extra set for drag radials. You've just been bitten.
