Default Fitch Fuel Catalyst...

Has anyone thought of installing a Fuel Catalyst? I have heard of 3 hp gains, and saving lots of gas with NO performance Loss! http://www.fitchfuelcatalyst.com/

Yea they rank right up there with Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and pixie dust. They are a total rip off.

Actually Horsepower TV did an engine dyno comparison and found the engine made more horsepower using less fuel.

They dont tell us the process or method, so I believe its probably a magnet, to assist the anti-polar stabilization of the molecular re -catalitic phase drift effect causing green paper to flow toward them. Woody

What are you 2 years old? The show was probably sponsored by them so they give bulls#$t results. I can advance engine timing during a commercial break and have the same results. Buy pixie dust it is cheaper and works better.

But its important to remember Horsepower TV is like everyone else out to make money. If you pay them then they tout your product. If you have questionable and controversial tests, then they'll duplicate them on the show for you.

Hardly would say I'm new to the forum, just don't feel the neccessity to post on every thread, especially when the comments are immature and useless. You might want to try this approach in the near future

I am a member of the Toyota FJ Cruiser forum, they went through the same questions over there. Several guys bought them solely to test and gave the results. They were all returned because of no fuel gain, but they don't have a true 90 day money back guarantee. "Reconditioning was needed". Basically when you install it they tell you easy acceleration, role to stops.... this style of driving would save you gas normally. If you are truely interested buy one and give it a shot, you can always return it.

Shouldn't you have posted this first to the thread instead of the two year old comment?

SRT-6 Man, I'm not downplaying what you're saying completely. I'm sure when fuel injection replaced carbuerators people said its ridiculous. So who knows.... All I'm saying is all of these TV shows and magazines are paid to tout these products, its quite sad. Its legal too as long as the tests are real, even if they are misleading. These days video game magazines have been under fire for giving low scores to games that don't come from advertisers and give high scores to bad games that come from advertisers. Really you can't trust anyone with a test or a review anymore, you need an independant lab.

And in the case of independant labs.... They tend to lean towards the party that hired them anyways.

So theres no hope basically.

Everyone has a better product. How are we going to know and who we are going to believe? Opinions are like a-holes everyone has one. Opinions based on knowlege is the only thing that counts. If someone has facts or reviews about a product then that is the only thing that has to be shared. Purchases of a product such as the Fuel Catalyst or any product should be based on facts. I never heard of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst, I hope someone in the forum will try it. I'll wait for the results/facts before I do. I didn't know if I would like my Crossfire until I tried it and got the information I needed before I bought it. I was looking at the Solstice, due to the advertizing I thought it as a good product.

I have decieded not install a fuel catalyst. I did find out that the military does use them in their Disel trucks. There seems to more good-things on this product , then bad. Who needs one, when the SRT has almost 400 hp at the crank, with Mods of-course...
