Any SRT6 that i have encountered including my own ticks like an eighties beater. Probably one of the few lame aspects of our car.

You probably know by now that Paul Neuman died today. If you have never seen it rent Cool Hand Luke for pointers on "the sexy car wash" You could update it with a topless version. MM

I am surprised at the dislike you have recieved for the Crossfire. Yes, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but in our country some people were stupid enough to vote for George Bush not once, BUT TWICE. This proves how stupid some opinions can be. Where I live (Montana) everyone I speak to loves the way our SRTs look which makes it just that much more enjoyable to drive.
It's great to have females take part in our forum. I love to know that ALL SRT owners are more than casually interested in "what's under their bonnets.

My Srt6 as well as NA roadster sound very similar on startup. This I would suspect is a result of the viscosity of oil we are using. Unless it is REALLY loud I would think it is normal. Welcome to the site, I hope you can
convince others to the wisdom of you ways by buying such a wonderful car.

Welcome to the forum and SRT club. Mine ticks when I start it also, although not that loud.
What is your last 5 digits of your VIN? I would like to add it to the SRT database.
