Default not made for american market?

Just ran my vin on carfaxs.....it didn't show up.
as it's an '06, isn't this a bit strange? I thought originally all '06s were for the USA?

I remember hearing they weren't sold in America.
2007 Chrysler Crossfire: Crossfire returns for 2007 after skipping the 2006 model year. The high-performance SRT-6 model is no longer available. Curtain side airbags are unavailable, but driver and passenger knee airbags are added for '07 (http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...-crossfire.htm)

I think it's strange. Mine had the export date from Germany and the date it arrived in Jacksonville Florida. Perhaps the fact yours went to Aussieland makes a difference to Carfax.

If I remember correctly all the 06,s were only going to be sold overseas but when they couldn't sell all of them they started shipping them to the US.
