And how did the examiners decide it was "dim"? What did they compare it to? Another Crossfire in line? A Subaru? A Cadillac?

Re: Center Brake Light
I will go back and talk to the technician who worked on the car to see what he found was the cause. I told him about the water under the wing issue but this car has never seen rain only water from washing. Maybe this is what caused the problem. This is why I posted this to see if this happened to anyone else. I give them credit though, they did a great job without making a mark on the car and they left it in the garage so nothing would happen to it.
Re: Center Brake Light
It seems to be a common problem with the roadster. I can verify that the LEDs in that assy will get so dim that you can not see them in the daytime, and they just barely glow when in the dark. It is a sealed unit and the water under the wing issue has nothing to do with it.
I have yet to cut open the light/printed circuit, but you can clearly see that the board has no moisture or corrosion on it. The connector is good and clean and it was tested with 12v going directly to it. Replacement worked fine.

PS Since all the LEDs are dim, I believe it is a voltage problem on the printed circuit board, not the LEDs themselves.
