Default Here you go guys: Custom front mount heat exchangers for SRT6

I had these guys custom build a heat exchanger for my old supercharged car. The guys that made it for me were great, I drew out a little diagram showing the exact size I wanted and emailed it to them. I even told them where to add the 3 "prongs" to fit my existing bracket, told them to leave off the cap/spout on the top and they let me pick the size of the pipe and the inlet/outlet location and everything.

Basically anything you want them to do they can do it for you. If I recall correctly it was around $250 shipped. They are a really nice bunch of guys. With all the custom work I had them to do they still had it shipped to my house in less than 2 weeks.

Here is what they made for me, it was a dual pass with 1/2" ntp fittings and 1 3/8" tubes and measured 18"W x 12"H x 2"W.

Call them for the custom work, it is really easy to mock one up with the mounting points, etc. You can go single, dual or triple pass and they will recommend you what will work best for your applications. Their work is top of the line.

Normally I do not give away my secrets like this for custom work but the srt6 guys pay way too much for parts so here is a great deal for you. I hope you appreciate this freebee from me

They also sell a nice waterpump on page 5 of their catalog.

These may fit fine if you do not want to go custom but personally i think custom is the way to go:

The mini sprint radiator might work great for you guys:

or the sirocco

Haven't had my car apart yet to know, so is this a ready fit for the SRT? I can see that it is taller than the stock piece. What else do I need to know? Are the three "prongs" for mounting?
Can I call and say I want exactly what mrphotoman ordered?

Thanks!

The heat exchange pictured above was for my other car. I think it would fit though but you would need to ask for the larger fittings on it. You can ask woody to give you the size of the one he installed and just call these guys and they can make you one that size or a little shorter if you like. they can install the inlet/outlet fittings where ever you want, add a shroud and fan even if you like.

if you did not want to take your front bumper off you could get creative and measure out the biggest size that will squeeze in and have them build one like that. You could make it triple pass so it would be more efficeint in a smaller space.

I thought I would bump this back up with all the heat exchanger talk going on. The photos above are the one I had them build for my old car. They will build one any size, single dual or triple pass, add or delete a cap, place the inlet/outlet anywhere you want and any size you want and even give you a choice on what size pipe you can have in it.

they had mine ready in under a week for $275 shipped if i recall correctly.

That's a nice looking product at a very decent price.

I think forum members are missing the point when it come to the HE and intercooler coolant. I went thru all the learning and pains - but I guess sometimes you best to go through it on your own.

They make radiators and other parts for those sprint race cars. They did an amazing job on my last heat exchanger.

Check out some of their overflow cans, etc. They have several cans that would work great for a catch can on these cars and look really good too. They will even custom make them for you.

Do you mean the HE is not a power mod that eliminates heat? That it should be viewed as a power efficiency mod that retards heat? In a nutshell.....

Brian, just curious, what do you mean by missing the point? Do you mean that most SRT-6 modders have missed how important a better-than-stock HE is? Or do you mean that most modders are doing their modded HE wrong?
