Default Look what I did today (lower grille)

I have been playing with this for weeks now, I have some extra Chrysler grilles mostly 300's, but found this one i think out of a Pacifica, it has the same design as the crossfire grille, so I put it on my band saw and sander to work and here is what I got, I still have the stock little black ones if I want to put them back, the new ones fit like a glove, I did cut up three grilles before I got it right. I used the lowest part of the grille ans also had to shorten the thickness, but now it works a small peice of two sided tape, tested them on a very rough road, well in Florida if it has 5 bumps we think it is a rough road, what do you think? jim

Looks pretty good and will allow plenty of airflow in the lowers compared to the stock ones.
Something new for the forum I believe.

That looks awesome! Who would have thought that the grill's curve would match the xfire's.
Nice job.

Well if you have any spares of the ones that fit, PM me and let's make a deal.

Ok, I guess I'll be the first to ask:

What year and model?

I'm sure I can find one in a boneyard!

Cooling is king and Iam glad to see so many inspired upgrades in that arena. We'll all strengthen our cars and they will like wine improve with time.

What is the cost for the grill components that were needed?

I looked at the drilling holes and decided against it for asthetics and time versis gain, too tedious for me.

ENJOY WOODY

I did not buy the grille at a place where i kinda work (free) (kinda hang around and help out when needed) we up grade the cars from two dealers mostly Chry 300's we have all these take off grilles and wheels .. we install chrome grilles, door handles post chrome and so forth,,,we got so many i told the owner what i was thinking of doing and he said take all you want, I took 5 grilles one is a all chrome chry 300 stock that he wants me to sell the others that i used (cut up) were 300's and one I think Pacifica new 08 or 09 i will see if we have any others you can also take two 300 grilles and get the left from one and the right from the other,, just the bars didn;t match where the Pacifica grille matched the crossfire shape and color will let everone know if there is any more and the correct year and car. jim
