The Fluidyne is a single pass design so the nipples are at opposite ends of the tank. Inlet is at the upper end and the outlet is down low. Both face the motor. The inside diameter of the nipples is 5/8" and they take 3/4" hose, same as the stock H/iE.
The overall imensions are 21.5 wide with the end tanks, 6.5" tall and3.5" deep. There are 2 mounting tabs at each end that add 1.25" per end so the complete width is 24".
Again the installation is this month with the NW isolation kit.

Today is tire mounting. I have a set of TOYO PROXES R888's going on. Stock size in front and a 255/40-17 in back. I don't know if my car is like other SLK32's but my wheel wells are rolled!? There are no other signs it was ever raced so maybe I have standard wheel well openings. I felt I could have gone wider but kept the diameter a stock 25". The condenses was that if the diameter changed much it would effect the car's ECU. Each inch of diameter changes the effected final drive gear by .15" so a tire that is 26.5" would change the stock 3.07 gearing to an affective 3.30.
Sorry for getting off topic. A couple of days ago I got on it when the needle was between 40 & 80. It left a cloud of smoke 20' high and blocked both sides of the street. I wish I could get something for youtube. As for any street light fights I needed tires that gripped. A friend back in Auburn, N.Y. Has an LS? In a "93 Mazda RX-7. The car weighs under 3000lbs. With driver and cuts 1.5x 60's.
Hopefully the SLK32 digs and does not spin or bog as my mods are few. NW DCAI, 65mm SC pulley & tune. A sub 2 second 60' is my goal. The car should handle like it is on rails for a "Side effect".
I will try to get the last half about the tires in a proper forum with preliminary results.
As for the h/e that will be soon. On a cobra it is listed as a 30 minute job.
I will post pics and whatever extra's it needs as soon as I can. Thanks for your patience. I will data the IAT's & The coolant temps. Later!
