Default JR-Industries single, dual and triple pillar pods

Just a heads up to everyone we will be completely caught up on all the triple pillar pods and can start taking orders on duals and singles. I am sorry for the hecticness of the whole thing, and to the people I may have missed or turned away, everything is straightened out, all group buy members are satisfied and we are good to go. Here is the current price sheet, we would like to get to as many people in our crossfire community who are interested before we shift the focus to the Benz crowd. Those who are still waiting on pillars they will be painted by the end of the week and should ship out with your gauges early next week.

I dont think thats what hes saying. Just wants to make sure the main part of his focus is here before he starts offering MB products.

Hey Johnny,

Those are really nice products you are offering. The finished product looks great too, but the pricing is short of outrageous. I realize that these are handmade but perhaps if you were to license your design through a company who could crank them out at a more affordable price that more people could purchase them. I would love to purchase 1 but I cannot justify spending 255.00 on a product that normally sells for 25-70 bucks.

Just my .02¢

I totally agree with what you are saying, I feel the same way, honestly I do, I did not expect to sell as many as I did at that price. Everyone who has received one has been over the top happy with the way it has turned out, and most have decided to order the matching gauges as well. I realize the price is high but really there is nothing I can do about it as of right now. I ran a group buy price at cost which was $190 out the door + paint and I covered shipping for the first 5. I added the $65 charge so that I would make a little money off of my time, which equates to about $11 dollars an hour for fiberglass, sanding, mold work and filling. THAT is only work time NOT dry time. In other words there is about 3-4 hours that I am stuck waiting for them to dry, plus an overnight, or 18 hours of unaccounted for dry time. Once the product is to the point where it can be painted I have to either drive, or ship them to my painter who almost 2 hours away. Why drive two hours away when there are painters all over the place, well he only charges $70- $80 a pillar instead of $120 like the other shops have quoted. Honestly there is nothing I can do unless we ran another group buy where multiple pillars could be painted at once. This might cut $40 to $50 dollars off of the price. If it were a Honda civic or corvette people would be laughing at me charging close to $300 a pillar, but bottom line this car is unique and kinda rare, some have to have it other have passed on it. To be honest to my understanding there are only 2 A pillars left in the united states available to dealerships and or the public. I have cleaned out the warehouse, surrounding dealerships in the U.S., and have the first order to receive 10 from Chrysler when the warehouse restocks. So far the turn out has been crazy and I cant wait to see all the pictures of my products floating around the forum.

I would also venture to say that there is not as much quality in the prefabbed ones. The fiberglass work looks incredible and color matched to the car is awesome. This is just like custom kick panels for car audio. You can by the pre made Q Forms, or you can buy custom panels that would look at home in a Lambo. The pillar pods look better in person than they do in the pictures. I was able to see one this weekend and it looks worth every dime. I am excited I bought a set and can't wait for mine to arrive!!!

Could you custom paint the pillar pods to match our OEM center, light silver/ gray?

I am painting one to match right now for an order will have pics hopefully tomorrow. We can do one better now we can wrap both pillars in headlinner fabric do to all the fallin headliners I have bought. I think it will look good, that is what we orginally planned on doing. Idk though I love the way the painted pillars look but it's now another option

We are working on mercedes pillars for the clk and slk as of now, and yes we can match the gauge color.

No clue now would be the time to figure it out while rc's car interior is ripped apart. I was thinking something similar only with the 06 srt6 emblems I love those.

You just may have another dual pod sale on your hands, one more question. When doing the dual pod are you eliminating the top pod closest to the roof?

I played with the dual the most, the single is a no brainer throw it on the very end, but the dual looked bad just getting rid of the top one. I messed with the spacing and spaced them out to stock length. The triple is really close and it just barly works with our gauges. The dual is more centered, I have one going to the painter later this week, I will take a picture or two of it for you.

It shouldn't be too hard to put something together. Lots of hours in designing it but feasible. Due to the fact that this isn't a honda civic though and that the demand for these, I would assume, wouldn't be that high, it may be quite an expensive project. I'm more than willing to make one for you if you want to pay for it and depending on the response from the rest of the forum could possible lower the price but first one always costs the most. Just ask Jon, his center console cost a fortune to make being it was the first one and the learning curve is steep.

Email me at rudy@jr-industries.net if you're interested or need more info about it. We're game to do anything.

For everyone else. AMG gauges are around the corner, as well as a few for other manufacturers. Have been so busy lately, I dont' mean to look like I'm neglecting the home team so thanks for all the interest.
