you'll have to machine your own adapter, chop up the OEM wheel and weld the center hub to the new adapter plate. either way it's a lot of work.

May I suggest the Carlsson SL55 wheel, it has much better hand ergonomics,

I dont know i find putting anything with a Mercades badge on the crossfire a little tacky, no better than Honda kids putting acura badges on their civics and preludes.

I agree with you about the logo, but to be able to control the sound system, cruise, and other components would be worth it in covenience and safety. Maybe one of the members here could come up with a replacement pad for the airbag cover. Something Chrysler should have gave us when they designed the car.

you wouldnt get radio and cruise controls just because there are buttons on the steering wheel for them. it would take alot of wiring to make those buttons actually function.

Theres a steering wheel angle sensor in our wheels thats part of the stability control. If you replace it with a non-airbag wheel, the dash light comes on (and stays on). Theres also the turn signal clock spring that i dont think the 6004 has consideration for. The horn switch is an easy swap though.

Hi,

what do you think about this steering wheel? It is manufactured by Raid HP (Type Daytona, black) with airbagmodul. Radius is 340 mm. You also need an airbagadapter of the SLK R170.
By the way I covered it with leather before taken in my SRT.
