Well, I'm going to pick it up tonight so I'll have that information to you guys later. Even before I drive off the lot, I'm going to assure that it is an '06 and if it isn't, we're going to have to seriously talk some things over. I don't like being lied to or deceived! Check back around 8ish, 9ish tonight!

*Checking out the carfax, why do I feel like this poor car is on Maury's ("You are NOT an '06, lol)

Good Luck...

If it's not you can probably get some serious discounts!!

So it's a win-win.

What is that on the bumper? And I'm not talking about the AMG decal.

The original owner put them dumb a$$ bumper guards on there but I'm going to have those removed along with the AMG decals. So wack, how could you ruin such a beauty...this is not a Honda civic!!! I mean, it doesn't look that bad but anybody that knows a X-fire will notice that. Beside that, the car is mechanically sound!

Thinking of which, can this be removed without damaging the paint? If so, can I do it or do I need to take it to a bodyshop? If this is a do-it-yourself job, what will I need to accomplish this task?

Yes, I took it with my iPhone. Damn, I can't stand those bumper guards. It's like looking at a fly a$$ chick with a zit on her nose!

Well fellas, I caught the dealer in a lie. Saturday they told me that the car was an '06 but he misquoted me. It's actually an '05. Any which way, It's still a good deal considering it the condition of the vehicle and that it only have 10k but the bumper-to-bumper warranty expired. So the dealership lowered the price to 20k instead of 22k. However, when I'm ready for the extended warranty, I will have to give them 1,500 up front. This thing is a monster guys, some impatient idiot in a Maxima tried to get fresh with me...I opened it up on his a$$.

Anywho, there is a warning light that comes on. It's on the right side of the dash. It's sorta round with an exclamation point in the center and it's amber colored. Anyone knows what this mean? Please pardon my ignorance, I only had a base coupe for 3 years.

The warning light is low tire pressure. The recommended tire pressure is 36psi all the way around.

Rodimus,

I thought the low tire pressure warning light is on the left side of the dash?

It's a light out warning light.

Looks like a exclamation point inside a light bulb looking thing. So one of your lights is out. If it's constantly lit, it's not a blinker or brake light, so that narrows it down.

A-ha! Good detective work! I knew the chances of it being a real '06 were entirely too slim, especially the emblems deal.

Since it's an '05, I would have made them take that stupid bumper guard off and do whatever it takes to make it look like new.

Inferno....I beat you to the punch brotha but they couldn't do it. At first, I hated it but it actually doesn't look at that bad since it blends in pretty good. I can live with it for now but it's coming off. There's a possibility that I'm going to have to take it to a body shop to have the bumper repaintd b/c that sh*t is glued on air-tight. I'm afraid that pealing it off, the epoxy may damage the paint.

I agree, it took someone pointing that out for me to even notice it.

Personally, that AMG decal looks worse.
