Say hi to the buyer of a NEW SRT-6
Re: Say hi to the buyer of a NEW SRT-6
The locking pin is working correctly, but thanks for the info. Now I know what to suspect if it gives problems in the future.
Went to the dealer today, they ordered the gas door and taillight assembly. At first they didn't want to but after I pointed out the rust on the inside, they had no choice but to make it right. As far as the oil, (another thread) they said it's no problem but if I decided to change it please have it done at a Chrysler dealership. Why? Apparently if the oil, or any work at all, is not done by a licensed mechanic, (doesn't have to be at the dealer) they are denying warranty claims here in P.R. When the parts come in I'll have them change the oil at the same time. I doubt they can do that but I don't want a possible fight in the future.

Re: Say hi to the buyer of a NEW SRT-6
Never in a million years did I think I would find one. When the first 05 SRT6's arrived in P.R. the dealer was asking around $65,000.00 so I never seriously considered the possibility. Now that they can't sell cars that consume and I can afford a car that consumes, I was looking at SRT8's. Look at me now! Even my reason for living is warming up to the car. I keep looking at the supercharger to make sure its not a SRT6 design edition or some kind of ripoff. Oh, I found a couple of torx bolts that sure are rusty under the hood. Another little fix for the dealer to do. Still, I'm shocked and stunned. Waiting to wake up from the fantasy.

Do your seats have the same logo as the speedometer? Have any pics of that?
Re: Say hi to the buyer of a NEW SRT-6
The seat logo is different on my 05 srt. My seats are just like the 05 logos. Do your seats have the fake suede inserts or are they all leatherd. Can't tell witn my eyesight? Congratulations on owning one of the rarest of a rare automobile.
