weird noise no idea what it is

Default weird noise no idea what it is

i didnt feel like driving my srt6 yesterday, so i took out my brothers limited crossfire and when i turned on the ac there was a weird fast repetitive clicking noise....i dont have much knowledge on cars so can someone explain to me what it is and how to fix it?

Sounds like a leaf in the fan, it's happened to many. One should keep all debris cleaned out of the cowl, it seems to be a problem with our cars.

Mine was making the same sound as you describe.....Sounded like a leaf in the vent or something. It actually turned out to be the blower motor for the AC/Heat.

no, but why the hell would you not take the srt?!!

I'm going to through another possibility out there. Mine was doing that last year when I bought it. The next time you notice it doing that, look at the small lights on the Heat/AC Controls. One or more of them is probably blinking in unison with the "clicking" If that is the case, then the Control unit is about to go bye bye. I hade mine replaced. After the clicking started, the Recirulate function stopped working, then the fan speed control went crazy(Couldn't turn it off), then I couldn't turn the AC Compressor off. This all happened gradually over about 2 weeks time. If it's out of warranty, you see them for fairly cheap on ebay. These units are well known for flaking out.
