SRT-6 Airbox Part Number
SRT-6 Airbox Part Number
Hello all:
Could somebody please tell me what the part number for the stock SRT-6 intake is? I noticed from the parts list the only reference listed is the "air cleaner" but it appears to be the engine cover that it's referring to. I'm leary as to whether this is the entire intake assembly or just the cover. Also, i'm only really in need of the driver side lower airbox as mine has a missing screw and a stripped out hole. Also, it appears that the crossfire has a slightly different intake setup than it's mercedes counterpart(s). So i guess i'm asking a few questions here:
1. Part number on air intake (driver side lower box only if possible, if there's a number on there?? Maybe you needswings guys could take a look at your stock intake??)
2. Anybody know where i can source a new torx screw like the stock one(s)?
3. Anybody have luck/tips in filling in stripped plastic holes with epoxy and rethreading?

Re: SRT-6 Airbox Part Number
My factory air-boxes had the Mercedes Benz P/N on the bottom of the box. Here is a picture of the driver side air-box - You should be able to purchase just the box on-line or at a MB or Chrysler dealer. Chrysler can look up part numbers for the Crossfire by cross referencing the MB part number (at least my dealer can).
There might be few members out there who have installed aftermarket intakes and perhaps can sell you one.
