Default OBD scan tool recommendations?

XF Experts: What is you favorite OBD-ii scan tool to use with the SRT6, how much does it cost, and where do you recommend buying it from?

It would be nice to see a thread listing these by application (diagnostic use vs full time monitoring) and cost class. Maybe we can pull one together?

i have a cheap Harbor Freight reader that i bought for my Jeep. might have been $35, but it doesn't clear codes or anything fancy. beats having to go to AutoZone though.

I bought my Nitrod about 6 weeks ago after I called and spoke to an engineer. It IS compatible with both the N/A and the SRT-6 Crossfires.

Watching the Air Intake Temp is kinda' fun.

Works quite well too, I might add.

I can X2 on the nitrod.Great guage and the customer service is top notch.I bought mine when i had the srt4.When i got the srt6 it would not read at all.I shot them an email and he had me take a pic of the pin out on the port.He emailed me back a couple days later and said if i wanted to ship my unit back to him he would modify it to make it work at no charge to me and would make future models compatible with the srt6.Great guage and great people to work with
