I used the Eibach springs on my SRT but finally pulled the fronts off and went back to stock because Autocrossing made the tires rub in hard corners.

The lowering also adds angle to the camber, so you have to consider that also. It handles ok now so lowering is a looks thing mostly, Woody, Enjoy.

If you have a SRT6 Roadster, don't go with the Eibachs. They will work on the SRT6 Coupes though.

I agree completely. BDJ's lowered his car with Eibachs and it rubs on the higway at 80mph when theres a big dip or bump. It rides a bit smoother but sways way more in the turns. Also consider the decreased clearance under the car.

Lowered srt6's look absolutely sick. But im keeping the stock springs on my car due to great handling and good ground clearance. The way AMG designed it.

I'm experimenting w/ SLK side skirts to give the appearance of being lowered, will go with 19's front, 20's rear when I finally decide on a wheel and tire package....this should give a lower appearance...

I have the eichbach pro series on my srt roadster and would do it again in a second. The only time I rub is when reversing while turning hard, other than that my tires don't rub at all. When installing the springs I shaved the rubber isolators(3/4") instead of buying the shorter ones from mercedes, this may be the reason I don't get any rubbing. I autcross my car and also generally run the **** out of it and with the eichbachs it handles considerably better. In stock form my car would push in the corners fairly bad but now with these springs it's a whole new beast. Understeer is all but solved and everyone who rides in my car says it handles like a go kart.

Shaved the isolators? You didn't happen to take pictures, did you?

Being as you live in Wisconsin, I have to ask. Do you plan on driving the car all year?

I considered lowering mine as well, but I think it would do bad things in the winter months. 4 inches of snow is no problem now, but after lowering I think it would not make it.

Just something to think about!
