HOW MANY SRTs STILL REMAIN IN THE WORLD?
Has anyone ever tryed to obtain information of how many SRT's have been in one way or another taken out of commision? Last year I was looking for an SRT engine & ECU for my 04' Limited and actually found quite a few. This doesnt include all the ones people are not trying to sell off. I have to assume the number of engines that are long gone far excedes the number of recycled ones.
Somebody that really has a knack with research needs to get on this.

I read in Autoweek 4/15 a stock '71 2002 BMW restored only said "nice" sold for $22,000! And they said watch as these cars are heading up and should soon be $30,000.!
BMW built over 300,000 2002s !

it has not even been 4 years since the SRT.. so I would think around 95%+ are still on the road... at 95% that would leave us with around 2816 left...
but in 4 more years... that number will see a significant drop
