Default Not a Poser just had to share

I was waxing and cleaning up the ole SRT6 today and came up with an idea. I have a set of Renntech rims lying around with Mercedes center caps, looking at them got me thinking, hey maybe those will fit in the crossfire centers? Sure enough the oem center caps fit perfect. IMO looks 100,000 times better then that hunky polished center cover that does not even match the rim paint. I like the look of the rim looks more like a European rim that should be on a sports car. I am going to grind the star down and put the Chrysler emblems on there with epoxy from the Chrysler oem centers. I am also thinking of picking up some of the new Andrew new Srt6 emblems to cover them as well. Kind of wanted to see what you guys thought and wanted to give you the chance to run out and pick some Mercedes centers up if ya like the way they look.

I think they look great, I personally prefer a wheel with exposed nuts.

That looks really nice. So much better than the stock ones. I tried taking mine off but when i popped the cover off I found that there was this ugly looking center piece that made me want to put the cover right back on. This is probably a stupid question but does this little center cover piece come off or is the only option to cover it up?

It just pops in and out like a mercedes or aftermarket rim you can switch back and forth with a simple flick of the wrist and a screw driver.

I LOVE that. I'd leave the Benz logo. Is there a part number on the back of the cap by chance? I want these now!

Ditto, I like the way MB logo looks on the wheel.

I kinda like that except the cap edge. I'm also making a new AMG badge too. And chrome or brush polished nuts or covers would look better.

I like those AMG caps, I wonder how they would look. Maybe too shiny, hmmmm...

The caps look good, but you'll need some chrome lug bolts. What about that groove for the cap removal? Does it bug any of you? I kinda like this idea.

It hasnt bugged me yet lol although I took the pictures and put her back in the garage lol. I like the look of the grey lug nuts I dont think chrome would look that good ??? I had alot of chrome on my old LTD I guess maybe I am just kinda over it. The dark grey and light grey really set eachother off.

Well I just got my 4 Mercedes caps ordered on Ebay for $23. This is a simple and inexpensive addition that I found to be attractive enough to jump on. Enjoy

I'm with huudoo. Can anyone confirm that 75 mm is the right size? Thanks.

Will these fit a Limited or Base Crossfire?
