I'm going to have to side with JohnnyAngel. This is a car forum, I don't really care who you know, are related to, etc. I think actors are just people, like the rest of us. They just happen to pretend for a living and do so on camera. I'm not sure how that makes them better than any of us. I am more proud to say that I am friends with some of the service soldiers giving their lives in the name of freedom.

My centercaps just arrived this week. They are the same ones you have. Thanks for the inspiration.

They fit in the hole but they do not seat all the way down. They stick out about 1/2 inch and it looks really bad!!!!!

The "stainless steel" version (really only polished stainless trim) fit perfectly. Here are some pix. Sorry about the color balance; it's very bright and sunny here today, and I think I had the camera on the wrong setting. In person, though, the finishes match perfectly and look OEM.

Could you please take a pic of the back of the center cap when you have a chance. Thanks.

Here are pictures of the back and side of the center cap, as requested, and a full shot of the car plus front and rear wheels.

And here's the eBay link for the caps. The nutcover link is here. There are other companies that sell them too (here), but the first one is slightly larger and fits perfectly. The nutcovers also come in black, which might make an interesting look too.

I think Sidez would have liked this more muscular but still subtle look. Very much….

Thanks, but the credit is all yours. You came up with the idea; I just executed it.

I got the silver AMG caps today and installed. Here are pics. I know, the baby needs a bath. (I did wash the wheels so you would scream too loud)

hmmmmmm,

Well, I just put the 'ol school "Scenic" AMG caps on and I'm not loving them to well....

I did the Chrome Bolt Covers too, which look great, but the caps are too "busy" looking. I think I'm going to order a set of the Stainless AMG caps and use those instead.

BTW, if you do use the Multi-Colored AMG caps, you will have to "adjust" the plastic retainers to fit tight. I had to heat mine up and bend them slightly to get them to seat properly.

I'm very pleased with mine, as noted in the posts above. Compare the look with the attached photo of the stock wheels on the brand new CLK63AMG Black Series, which is a $150,000 very mean machine. SRT SIX took the pic at a show in California last weekend, I believe.

Cool Re: Not a Poser just had to share

I just got a nice set of AMG 75mm center caps from dongparts off ebay for my SRT-6. These (the ones with the green tree, cam and AFFALTERBACH AMG logo) do not fit perfectly and will require some re-engineering to fit tightly. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to spin one off at 80mph. The catch clip on these is about .5" offset from the 75mm rim so when inserted, there is alot of in and out play. I found another ebay vendor that sells a 70mmID-73mmOD rubber centering ring that looks like it might work like a big rubber band to secure the cap from the inside. This vendor (aaiautomotiveaccessories) also sells the 17mm lug bolt caps (various colors). Will let you know how this goes. Has anyone else tried these caps on a Crossfire SRT-6 wheel?

If they are anything like the silver "star" caps I had, it's an easy fix. There is a metal ring that applies pressure to the plastic clips. Take it off, stretch it out larger, and put it back on. Your center caps should stay snug.
