I tried a cap off a friends '00 E320 Wagon and it fit perfect. Everything I've read is that all Mercedes caps are the same. The plain silver ones are the same part number that an '83 300TD and 2007 S600 calls for... So, I would have to believe that this is the Mercedes Standard.

I'm going with these and Chrome Bolt covers... I like these because they are different and don't scream MB or AMG.

Great; thanks very much for the good info. I like your choice of caps, too, but the shipping charges are awfully high, IMHO....

They are coming from Taiwan. That's why the shipping is high. I've bought several things from Asia and never had a problem.

I have both replacement or overlay decals same price The SRT6 shown is overlay but also is brushed metal finish laser cut. I can make custom also. How about your own design??

From the research I've been doing today, it would seem that all Mercedes wheels offered from 1986 and up all have the same hole and all the caps are 100% interchangable. The only exceptions being the off-road wheels on the G Series, All SLRs, AMG Black Series and Maybach.

I just went out and pulled the covers off the Aero and measured with a caliper. The inside diameter of the hole is 2.75"(70mm) where the cap clamps in and the outside at the top of the bevel is 3"(76mm). There should be no problem with the 75mm as stated earlier.

The caps look good, but you'll need some chrome lug bolts. What about that groove for the cap removal? Does it bug any of you? I kinda like this idea.
Bump. I ordered the center caps and the lug bolt covers, but they haven't arrived yet. Still haven't come up with anything for the groove opening, though. Anyone have further thoughts? Thanks.

Runs like a Benz, drives like a Benz, built with Benz parts, hmmm, it's about 90% Benz, so a couple of wheel emblems won't be too out of place actually. They'll match all the tri-pointed stars and "Mercedes" emblems on the labels and components under the hood. It's probably more of a falacy for the car to wear the Chrysler badge.

I ordered some AMG ones with black letters. I think it gives the rims a better look.

I guess I should remove all the factory Merc stars and AMG stamps on most of the parts then.

I followed my wife's merc to the shop and the mechanics approved of my Kompressor badges. They said, "You should remove the Chrysler badges, it's more AMG than anything..."

If the chrysler wings were easy to replace, I would do the same. It's 90% Benz, may as well complete the task. Most people wouldn't know the difference anyway.
