Default Purchased an extremely low mileage SRT-6.

Hi all! My name is Neal and I purchased a 2005 SRT6 with only 2037 miles for only $20,995, which seems to be a great price, considering how expensive these cars are out of the factory. I was told the full factory warranty is still good until July 2009. It is being shipped from Georgia as week speak and I can't wait to drive her for the first time. I did get to test drive a new leftover 2007 convertible this past weekend, and they wanted $25k which was very tempting, especialy when they said the first owner gets a lifetime powetrain warranty with it. AT least the SRT-6 Carfax is clean and it's a 1 owner lease return. Looking forward to start modding and speaking with you folks online.

Welcome. That permasmile you are about to get will make your friends and family think you've gone crazy. Just ignore them, they won't understand...

Glad to have you!

Now that has to be one of the best prices I've seen yet. The prices just keep falling and falling. I may have to pic up another one!

Congrats and welcome!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. Wow, only 2,037 miles on a lease return, that's got to be close to a record too.

Sounds like you got a great buy.

Welcome to the forum.

In addition to the perma-grin, you will probably find yourself often expounding about the wonders of the SRT to friends and family (& strangers, too).

Have fun, and be safe.

Congrats on that SRT6, you Beat me to it By less than one hour
I live 80 miles away, and it was still on CarMax's site, when I called the Atlanta Car Max, but you had beat me by about 40 minutes, I was told.
(It was the only SRT6 CarMax had in the entire US at the time)

Hey Neal,

Welcome to the club! You will find that you have not only a rare and
awesome looking car, but one that can pop the top on a can of whup
a**. You'll also discover that most people only get to look at the
rear end while it is pulling away. Good luck, and have fun.

Hi, my name is Randy and I own two SRT's ........Sorry sounds like the 12 step process to AA............... except its rather appropriate for the XF/SRT6 addiction that will begin on your first day of driving.

1. perma grin
2. obsessive cleaning
3. reading the crossfire form 6 hours per day
4. buying gold rotex breaks.
5. using the search to find out all about your XF before someone yells at you when you ask a question
6. new stereo
7. Wondering what you can do to make it even faster
8.
9
10
11
12

Can anybody fill in the other 5

8. Spending hours looking at new wheel / tire combminations to see what might look better than what you have on now.

9. Trying to figure out if you can "clear bra" the whole car to protect it from any nicks, chips, scratches, door dings, bird crap, etc. etc.
