Talking Re: are you all like this?

It would seem that some people here have the capacity to become unhinged easily.

After getting a lot of good hearted ribbing from some of the club members, I found that some have an advanced sense of humor, thats healthy. I only wish April 1st had not passed for I had an idea that would play to thoes stable enough to understand humor, well see how it goes.

Some have embraced the changes, still others have seen that there are more than one approach to altering their environment to suit their tastes.

I have enjoyed interaction with thoes who do their own work on their cars as several changes I made were devised by their efforts. That is the idea behind forums, the interplay of ideas between individuals with the ability to grasp new concepts and to question the church as it were.

There are too many opportunities in life to enjoy, and so little time to accomplish them all.

Personally I dont have time to deal with people exibiting hypomania and who are afraid of playing with their toys, for fear that they will break them. I leave them to their own internal demons.. Life is too short for hate, Enjoy

Woody, sorry for the repeat, I do not know if the cretins would get it otherwise.

Not sure why you are attacking directly. He definitely chooses function over form, but so do many auto enthusiasts. He has something that makes him uncomfortable such as a hard arm rest, so he figures out a logical solution. I ribbed him and so did others about his choice of materials, but it is his car and he posts his solutions to share his ideas just incase someone else out there has been trying to figure out a fix for a problem. Some car people are all about aesthetics and some are about function and driving pleasure. If his "mods" make him more comfortable in his car, so be it. I personally would never glue a hacked up mouse pad to my car, but that is just my choice.

ummm, what's the problem? Chastising him for what exactly? He bought the car to "USE" the car. Unlike most, he gets out there and uses it for what it was designed to do. I'm not going to say his "creations" are my cup o tea either, but at least he is brave enough to try things that benefit his needs and motivations. That is what it's all about. He and myslef didn't buy these cars to wipe with a diaper and admire in the garage. We drive them HARD and often. If he chooses to augment his experience in functional ways that make it better for him, why judge him for that. If it works for him, that's all that matters. He has been kind enough to share his ideas with us. I could see myself doing a few of these things with a little more finished and factory look.

Sit back and relax. It's all good. We should be thankful there is one of us that is brave enough to tear his car apart and try and make it better. I haven't seen many others go to the lengths he has. I for one, appreciate his efforts.

The fact that you question his right to be here is laughable, arrogant and ignorant at best my friend.

seriously this forum is all about adding modifications, so what if it dosn't meet your taste. IMOP there's not enough of you people adding anything to the forum, many of you just take info, but never really contribute.

Flame suit on! LOL
Many people on this site don’t contribute because they don’t have a flame suit.

I appreciate Waldigs titles and out of the box thinking if nothing else, my vote is to keep him.

Agreed. Does anyone here leave their computers with all of the defaults set by the factory? I didn't think so. You may not like my add-ons and I may not like yours, but we have the same right to make them.

Go Woody!

Like has already been said........I may not agree with what he has done, but commend him for doing what makes him happy.

Just curious........when did the forum become one where you had to be "voted" in, and a conformist to everyone else's opinion and scrutiny?

After further review and research, it would seem that our original Poster has very little if anything to contribute to this forum. 50 Posts? A whopping 0.41 posts per day that mostly consist of pointless comments and questions that have been covered before.

I would have to ask the same question of him.

"After reading the first posts and viewing the pictures in these threads do you think this guy should be part of the srt-6 community???"

yeah.. Its not like the guy is a jerk about it, hes just doing his own thing to his own car.. I'd be upset if he did that stuff to my car, but hes not bothering anyone (i guess but whoever made this post)

I'm pretty sure that waldig can be part of the Crossfire Coupe and/or Roadster communities if he gets kicked out of the STR group. He just needs to remove a few things from his Crossfire to qualify.

Oh, one question: Is ttosrt6 really serious or is it just a joke? Just have to wonder?
