Be careful where you are when you push that button

I suspect thie warp speed button is simply another version of a passing gear, however, calling it a warp speed button is more interesting!

Lol. I assume you're' talking about the kick-down switch? I've gunned it pretty good but I was too busy holding on to even notice if it down-shifted. I definately didn't hit the switch, though. Will it not shift unless you flatten the throttle?

Depends on how the transmission, or computer actually, has adapted to your driving style. Try the reset procedure. When you do hit the kick down switch however, it will down shift for sure.

I used to call it my secret button. Now, after installing the intake, I refer to the button as my "get new tires" button.

cgo- I pulled the negative off the battery for a couple hours to clear the brain. then after more research i heard about the kickdown switch. to be honest i didnt really think such a thing existed. so , of course i had to experiment. i cannot get the grin off my face!!!

MUTT - there is a button underr your gas pedal.at around 40-50 mph mush the pedal down and you will feel the pedal stop, mush harder and you will feel the switch go.
HOLD ON!!!
way to much fun!

When I punch it hard, I have this strange sense of guilt. I feel like I am being rough with it/using $10 worth of gas. Ha.

The " Go Baby Go" button gets used daily in mine! I like to keep it "Cleaned out"

If you think it's impressive in the 40-50 MPH range, try it going around 20-25 when it kicks down to first. Make sure there is nothing around you or in front of you when you do this.... Tape a $20 to the dsh fist and bet your friend they can't grab it before you let off...

So does anyone else find it irresistable to speed in this car?! It's crazy. It seems now that everywhere I go i'm going at least 5 or so over. This car just EGGS you on!

5 over?!?!? You're lucky, Smokey. Mine doesn't want to do less than 80mph. I find myself in the triple digits too often.

The real problem is all those OTHER cars on the road. They just keep getting in the way.

I found this button the first day I owned the car. Its so easy to go 100+ in this car. I hit 120 almost everytime I drive it. You dont even realize how fast your going unless you glance at the speedometer, and then its oh @#$%!
