Where is this stated may I ask.
I am only asking because I had mine cut to clean up the surface before replacing pads (Rotex Golds) at about 22,000 miles.
I have had no problems and very little was cut to get a fresh surface.

Sorry to tell you but the inservice date for that car was March 31 of 2007 (03/31/07). I have the VIP summary for it. What makes you think it was a Track Experience Car? I was not aware of that either.

I would have to say I am also somewhat skeptical of your post due to earlier threads started by you. I'm gonna reserve the rest of my thoughts for ......... a later time.

It was 07 not 08...........The dealer told me the WARRANTY WAS GOOD TILL 2011 THATS WHAT i WAS BASHING MY INFO OFF...........The key chains on both keys had a plastic sign that read SRT Track experience number 5x045980..............The rotors and brakes according to the Dealer in my area need to be change out, the front one is a bit warped and was causing most of the problems...............Whats with all the contention from a few of you?

Besides excessive rust build up on the rotors, the caliper pins could also have rust, preventing the caliper from sliding as it should. If it is rotor rust, the dealer should turn the rotors, removing just the rust so you don't foul your pads or warp your rotors trying to sand off all that rust.

P.S. How the hell do you program the garage door opener?

Thanks

I have three different types of them. I have that one, a Rubber one and a Metal one. They come up on eBay occasionally. I have the large SRTTE Window Banner Stickers too! I can decide if I want to use it or not. Might be a little tacky...

I really would not be at all concerned with it being a track car. Especially with those few miles.

People are giving you a hard time because you hurt our feelings in the begining with the Corvette comperison and Crossfire bashing... Time heals all wounds. I forgive you, because you bought the better car...

Who Buys a car with 100 miles on it without test-driving it???? Nobody i know would do this! Besides the prep guys at the dealership should have caught the brake problems also!

Rotors warped at 110 miles. Not likely.

A lot of people are doing this with SRTs. They buy them out of state. Most would think that a car with 100 miles is like brand new and shouldn't have any problems. If it had 20k or 50k, then, yes, I'd test drive it, but 100 miles? Most people don't really think about the Track Experience cars.

You're to bright to even ask this question (I mean you did get a SRT after all). This is all behind me and won't be mentioned again. No one has to many friends that another one can't be added to a persons circle.

Let us know how it all works out. I just realized I've put on almost 12k miles in the few months I've owned mine and really can't wait to go to work.

Well, that may take a while as nobody is buying them anyway. It's not like we have race brakes on these cars. The rotors aren't drilled, slotted, nor are they hugely expensive ceramic compounds. Some of the new ZO6s have rotors that crack in multiple places after only a few hot laps.
