Thumbs up Re: What are your thoughts on this?

The fillers help improve the factory appearance and elevate the overall view, eliminating the hot rod chopped look.

Thumbs up Re: What are your thoughts on this?

I used Krylon textured black satin finish to complement the inner fender paint work and the sand casting finish on the air inlet boxes. I used a clean-up wheel to 'cut' off the paint exposing the raised lettering and leaving a turned finish.

The flash photo is due to the fact that I am waiting ( LET shipping via UPS ) for the inlet gaskets to reconnect all the pieces. The inlet and heads were just ported to "match gaskets" and I did not want to pull the car off the lift just for a photo. I also wanted to capture the turned metal finish on the lettering with the glare of the flash. Iam also getting fitting measurments for my filler plates.

Thanks for the interest, Waldig.

I used one of Andrew's key fob decals to cover up where it said Chrysler on my SC cover. Or it may have been one for the emblem on the steering wheel. I tried to cover up everything that said Chrysler .

I filled the wing in with 2 part epoxy and mesh from a bumper repair kit. Then painted both the cover and the air boxes to match.

Wow, I don't mean this in a bad way. But that just looks strange, I guess because I've never seen one without that big Chrysler wing. You should have put a scull & cross bones on there or something clever .
