If you want a local shop to do it, take it to CPT (Chicago Performance Tuning) and tell Al that LET Motorsports sent you. He is a great guy and knows alot about the 3.2L Kompressor motor.

He installed my cams, as well as my IC Tank and he has personally done a few pumps.

Hey, this isn't so much in Chicago but Bob Rohrman's Arlington Chrysler in Buffalo Grove has a tech there that seems pretty good at what he does. In addition to that I was their first IC pump failure but they are fully aware of the symptoms and cause and what to tell Chrysler when they call them. If for some reason they have a brain fart tell them when they call Chrysler to look for it under a "cooling issue" instead of a "performance issue". Also I actually just had my car at the shop yesterday for a few things but one of them was some "corrosion" on my rims that I had tried and tried to somehow remove, I asked if they could send pictures to Chrysler they said sure but they didn't know if they would replace them or not. I go to pick up my car and they have somehow made the rims spotless and even cleaned the inside of the rims for me (I asked if I could buy what they use, they said they buy it in bulk and couldn't tell me what it is or sell it). Anyways long story short I'm pretty happy with them as a dealership right now. When/If you go in make sure you talk to Joe in service about the IC pump issue.

Arlington Chrysler is actually quite close to me. I thought that their tech was not certified in the SRT6, but only in crossfires. That is a different certification, isn't it?

When I asked they stated they had one SRT-6 certified tech, I made sure because my dealership that I bought the car from did not have one. You should still call and confirm; but last I was actually told by them is that their SRT tech does not show up until 8 AM (I only say that because they yet again referred to him as an SRT tech). I apologize if they gave me wrong information but I hope it isn't, they can however treat the IC pump issue if you just wanna have that done and then find a different dealer.
