Is anyone running a methanol injection set-up on their SRT? If so, what kit are you running?

Having one of these would seem like a good idea for people running the 185mm pulley since it is said to raise the temps. I think I might try that trunk mounted system from www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com once I get my pulley installed.

 

I have that kit in my tib, it is super easy to install and works great. You should see a nice increase in power with the cooler temps and if you want to send your ecu off for a tune you can get the timing moved up a little for a really nice boost in power.

 

you could be really cheap and install a sealed 1 gallon plastic or stainless tank filled with Alcohol under the hood.
Run a pressure line from the Kompressor to the tank, then from the sealed tank to the throttle body. and install a mister nozzle from MC MAster Carr. DIY it for about $150

if you tune for the meth i would not cheap out and risk your engine on a ghetto rig like that just to save a little bit of money.

 

Would it be possible with the way our cars are setup to add a injector nozzle into the supercharger inlet after the intercooler so that you could lower temps in the SC without puddling in the intercooler. And if you could, would it be advisable since I dont think fluid normally goes through the SC? Just curious as to how to use alcohol injection the best.
