made some emblems
made some emblems
we drew these up in autocad last time we were having other stuff cut out of 1/8" 304ss then sent them off to the electropolisher. ill have to get one on the back of the car and see how it looks. it would go on with 3m tape or emblem adhesive, ill have to see how the adhesive deals with stainless in the freezing cold. the issue i may see those is id hate to see one not put on strong enough and get ripped off by an automatic car wash = ouch, your gunna have a bad day! this wouldnt be a problem for us since we hand wash our cars but im unsure of how many of you do use the drivethru carwashes with the big spinning brushes/cloths as there will be an edge on these. let me know what you guys think.
Re: made some emblems
there 1/2" or 3/4" tall, id have to go back out and measure them, we made the drawings a few months ago so its not fresh in my mind, the short ones are ~ 3"-5" long and the supercharged one is ~ 8" long, ti may be too long for my liking but ill have to see it on the car first before i write that one off. the twin and turbo should make their way onto our tt stealth and glh omni.
as for the blurred ones or the other custom ones mentioned above, umm, lemme do some research first and make sure we dont screw ourselves

Re: made some emblems
these stainess ones cant be welded to our aluminum intakes but we can make more out of aluminum if you guys want.
sure we could cut customs but there would proabably be about a $50 charge in autocad assuming your not providing the file for it. i made these in illustrator and then autocad and made them .dwg's
the ones pictured above would be $20 each for the s/c (due to double the material and extra time it takes to be cut) and 15 for the smaller ones without a backing/mounting solution as of yet. i have some ideas with some 3m stuff btu probably wont be able to play with them till mid week, is anyone here a body shop guy with some ideas?
still checking on the scribbled out ones
