I just picked up a 2005 SRT6 Black with 118 original miles on it (Also came with a factory warrenty till june of 2010)...Going to be delivered to me in about a week. ...It was between a 2004 C5 with 7,000 miles or the Crossfire and I finally went with the Crossfire in the end...

What was the price just for the car, not taxes and fees , etc. Not the OTD price. What city, state and dealer did you find it at? It looks great!

Thanks.

I think the main reason I bought the car was because its just so rare...I have seen 2 Crossfires in Utah in the last 3 years...Very Rare here!!!

Sounds reasonable to me! Vettes are nice but are a dime a dozen.

I guess I got bit by the Crossfire bug after I sat in one at a carmax by my house...They are so rare and look so exotic, "I just had to have it".

Congrats on the new SRT6. I just recently bought an SRT6 convertible on ebay for $26,100. It had 1,600 miles on it. I thought that it was a great deal. Enjoyed it the last few weeks.

I think you got a great deal. I picked up a 2005 SRT6 with 8,200 in December and paid $21k before taxes, etc. It needs about $1,000 work. I wish I had looked more, but Utah is a long way to go to pick up a car.

Hey new guys - do us all a favor and fill out your profile so we know whether or not we've got any SRT competition around town.

I saw an Aero Blue one within 300 ft of my work the other day that I have never seen. Unfortunately I was going the other way and would've been hung at a light if I had tried to turn and follow.

Congrats to both of you on your recent purchases.

I have to also mention that I got the car with free shipping from Ohio to Utah. Good things come to those that wait!!! (Been looking for the right car for 6 straight long months).

Glad you came to your senses. Some of the things you said in your other post were VERY HARSH and completely unfounded. I'm glad you realized how durable and reliable the Crossfire really is. Replace the intercooler pump with the upgraded Johnson pump from LET Motorsports and the headlights, Heated Seats and Transmission leak are the onlyother things to look for and are very minor replairs. I really had trouble understanding were came up with the superchargers going bad and the engine being a piece of crap.

WELCOME, I forgive you for talking mean about our babies...

Dam, I bought mine back in August for 24,995 OTD with nearly 11k on the clock! Oh well, I don't feel too bad about it because at least I know the car was driven (no spider webs in the engine ). I still consider anything now days with under 15k a new car really.
