Default P0882 Code - anyone had this?

My co-worker with the bad IC pump and IAT sensor took his car to the dealer this week. They first diagnosed the car and came up with the following code:
P0882

Thankfully they were willing to listen when I told them that although there may be another issue, the IC pump is definitely providing all of the symptoms of a pump that is malfunctioning - so they ordered that also and will be changing it.

However, interesting to me, the service writer told me they ordered a new TCM due to the above code. I think that is the Transmission Control Module??. They said the code read something to the effect of 'low power input from the TCM'?

Has anyone had this code or does anyone know anything about it?

Just thought I'd ask. Aside from the IC pump issue, the car seemed fine...no other issues. So, I'm wondering if the IC pump issue was actually a transmission problem due to faulty signal?

But...the symptoms fit the IC pump to a 'T'. It started happening only when hot, wouldn't happen if it was cold (limp mode once IAT temps got high). It had the typical lack of acceleration when you try to kick down a gear, etc.

Thanks,
Shawn

I found it under several chrysler vehicles...but not specifically the crossfire.

I will keep you updated. The service writer was saying it off of the top of his head as the tech had just taken the paperwork when I called. But, I looked up the code and it matched his description so I assumed it was correct.

He is supposed to call back tomorrow and let us know what parts came in.
