Well, that depends on what kind of racing you're doing.
For official events, such as drag or autocross, most people turn the traction control off.
But for the illegal street type of racing, it's best to leave it on. That way you won't lose control and kill yourself or others. Plus with traction control and stability control you'll be amazed at how the car handles.
