we sent a couple of these off to the port/polish company we deal with. they polished the inside of the pipe and then had them teflon coated, these 2 are both already spoken for but i have more on order so we should have some extra cores to be able to turn them around for you guys if your interested. the teflon coating was tinted with a gunmetal color on these.

i forgot to snap pictures before we started but i'm sure there are some floating around on the board, i'll snap some when the other new ones arrive here.

by the way, the shavings did not burn like normal magnesium, they must be an alloy mixture were assuming.

its the stock srt-6 y-pipe feeding air from s/c up into the manifolds.

it created a super slick surface on the inside of the tubing, even more so then the port/polish

 

How much for the y-pipe?

 

I'm no airodynamic engineer but did you know that a rough finished surface is more efficient for airflow than a smooth surface, mostly because of the surface tension of liquids adhears better to smooth parts than rough ones, you might want to sand the inside of the coatings off.

 

Your also not much of a speller.

there is no liquid going thru these tubes, for the intake manifold runners yes i agree but this piece is way before fuel gets sprayed

 

air acts very similar to liquids it's velocity is measured in renolds numbers just as with liquids, it's just not as dense. either way it seems a bit of an over kill. looks good though!
