Default Second SRT6

You guys are killin me. I read the thread from 'redlinerunner' about not getting the SRT6. Which got me questioning my pretty little 04 Limited. Long story short. I went to a dealer yesterday and left with an Aero Blue SRT6. What the heck am I supposed to do with two?! Maybe have twice as much fun!!!

MikeR

(Yeah, I know I'm too old to have this much fun!)

Thanks. I meant to say, What am I supposed to do with two SRT6's? At least now I dont have to choose between the 'Lite' or the SRT. Now its just which color, SSB or Aero.

Wow. I may have to find a coupe at some point to go with mine. Nice to see a lot of people getting not 1, but 2 Crossfires.

Yah Mike,

I had a Similiar Problem, would it be the SRT Roadster or the SRT Coupe, both were SSB?

However, I just solved that problem, I sold my Coupe Friday!

So I think I'm going to keep the SSB SRT6 as stock(only 1200 miles) and do the mods on the Aero Blue SRT6. It has 21K on it. It also seems to have a better response on throttle. I'm just doing the SL55 intake, ASP pulley, ECU tune and resonator removal.

I have thought about the miles on the engine and doing the mods, but also think if I have to get rid of one, I would get rid of the stock one. I like the Aero Blue color better. The SSB is mine, so any sale would be all in my pocket.

What do you think of the mods on the 21k mile engine?

I had a leased SSB 04 coupe when I bought my Aero blue SRT6. I used it as a daily driver till I got run off the road & totaled it. I ended up selling my old 86 jacked up 4X4 redneck truck and buying a new 4X4 GMC truck for a daily driver, where I live I about have to have a 4X4 to get in my drive when it snow's. I really miss that SSB coupe, I wish I could afford to buy another regular coupe for a daily driver. I'm out of garage space anyway .

I am looking forward to driving my "twins" this summer. The Roadster may not have the power of the SRT6, but there's nothing like a convertible on a summer evening - especially with a stick, And the SRT6 is there when the weather is a little questionable or I want to be able to hit the go-fast button off the line.

If you want to double up your fun, this is a great time to find cheap SRT6s in excellent shape with low miles. I doubt that will be the case in a couple years which is why I bought now.

Sure, now it comes up. I already bought #2. It was probably the wrong color anyway. There are only two blues and I have one of each. Three might be considered excessive!!
