You can't go from SRT to regular, only the other way around. Don't do it, your right foot will hate you for it.

That is very true. You will want to sell the Limited or Trade it in about 2 months, if that. You won't be happy going from one the other in that direction. Both are great cars for most of the same reasons, but just like going from a Mustang Cobra to a Mustang V6, you just don't do it.

If your in the mid 20's with TTL for the SRT6 then it's a good deal. You can always let it go and chance it being there in a month then hit them low. You know the dealer will think they can put that on the lot for 32K. It won't happen. Also depending on your location if weather will play a part on buying a convertible. KKB it and hit them just above wholesale, because that is what the market is dictating. If the put it for 25K then it would probably move to someone here on the board. Just my 2 cents.

Definitely give them the SRT6 and tell your dealer to buy it for you at a market price you will pay they will offer Chrysler to buy it before it goes off their lot at the going auction price or maybe a few bucks more and will be glad to sell it the next day back to you!
It happened to me!

Yep! Chrysler knows they will lose there *** on that care if it goes to auction. I can't see that they would want to pay to transport the vehicle, store the vehicle etc, just to lose $6,000 on the car.

Thanks for the advice. My buyout is $30k plus TTL. I will definitetly take all the advice here. You guys are great.

I like all of your other cars as well. I had a '67 camaro RS convertible that I sold in '97 and also a '55 chevy I sold in '87. Wish I still had the 2 of them.

30K?! I'd give it back to them and then tell them to call you when they realize what they'll really get for it!!

So basically it comes to this.......if you had 2 similar cars.....would you pay an extra 4k to 5k to get the one that you knew the history of and had an extra 100+ HP?

The deal on my current leased srt6 roadster is going down this week. The lease ends 2/29. Any idea what I should pay currently or at what price I should walk?
