Re: Someone got my best....
I think that's implying that he found his voltage to be maxing out on his intake air sensor. He must have upped the sensor that was in there...maybe one from an SL55?
It's also possible he was just wanting a cushion, to prevent a lean condition or allow for future mods, and his voltage wasn't QUITE getting maxed out with his current configuration.

Re: Someone got my best...
Looks like from the pic he has some wider tires with different rims on back. It doesn't look like drag radials, but some brands have more thread than others. If they are drag radials that may be the difference from Abe's time. The track is also only 66 feet above sea level, which makes all the difference. Way to take advantage of the track and weather. Humidity is the only negative factor for your track. With it around 30% you might shave another tenth or more. Here comes the 11's.

I think that is for his water/rubbing alcohol spray. I'm just going off of his previous threads earlier in the year. I think those are universal windshield wiper nozzles mounted on the spoiler to cool down the intercooler radiator? He was saying it dropped the temps to the supercharger by a whole lot, and improved performance. He added a washer tank behind the passenger seat and I assume plumbed from there. Now that's what was posted about his car back in Jan 07, but again I'm assuming he did this to his friends car. The one that posted the record. Anyone's guess who was driving? Nice to have the track on a Friday morning. Maybe he will shed some light on the thread. Darn sea level tracks.

Re: Someone got my best....
Here is the thread from earlier this year. Seems like alot of people had renntech pulleys and other mods back then. Not sure why no one hit the low 12's before now. Maybe there are more roundy roundy fans here. Look like the straight guys are prevailing now. Does mention MAF, but not what he put the potentiometer's on.

Re: Someone got my best...
A potentiometer by nature provides a changing current (usually milliamp) based on input.
this explains it a little better......
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potentiometer
Many automotive sensors are "potentiometers" by definition.
