LETMotorsports Now Carrying JOHNSON PUMPS!!! CM30!!!
Re: LETMotorsports Now Carrying JOHNSON PUMPS!!! CM30!!!
Jerry, the TYCO connectors are available thru a distributor I found in Los Angeles. Also you can cross match with a Delphi connector as well... Unfortunately, I am in New Orleans shooting a movie and do not have access to my database. If you do a little searching, you can get the parts very cheap...
MrPhotoman: I have pics of the pump located in my SRT6 Engine Transplant thread... Do a search...

According to Tyco, the part we need is not being sold anywhere. We need coding "C".
If you have this part or can get it, then do the forum a favor and post up where to buy it. It will save everyone money....as we were going to charge more than the connector and pins cost.
Re: LETMotorsports Now Carrying JOHNSON PUMPS!!! CM30!!!
Maybe I am missing something here but what is so important with those connectors anyway? It is easy enough to splice the wires with another type of connector. I do not see that this would be a big problem. If I am not understanding somethig then perhaps someone would explain. Thanks.

If it were 'Plug -n- Play' it would be much more popular and easier to install, BUT, as far as AMG-Jerry goes, I can understand where he is coming from. Most of the customers who are upgrading pumps will have enough DIY knowledge to get it done, or enough $$ to pay someone to figure it out for them. They tried to do it as a courtesy but they are also trying to run a business. It got to the point where it was no longer cost effective...therefore they let it be.
I don't like hacking the stock harness, regardless of how good of a hack you do...
HDDP, I may do some searching tomorrow with the info you've provided and try to find the source you found.

Brain storm: couldn't we just hack the pump connectors? Take the connections from the old pump and put them on the new pump?

I'll look into it more tomorrow if I get a chance during work.
