Aluminum Intake Manifolds for srt6
Re: Aluminum Intake Manifolds for srt6
From what I have seen on this forum, the 185 isn't much better at the track. I think it is because it creates more heat but that just my opinion. Maybe the 185 would be better with the manifolds but no way to tell until somebody tries them. Rob has gone 12.0 with his 178 which is quite impressive.

A lot of the people with 185 pullies don't have the privelage of living near a track at sea level so the times don't "appear" as impressive. I'll post up the slips/vids of my 185 car running 11's in November at 2200ft elevation and a DA that's through the roof most of the year.

Re: Aluminum Intake Manifolds for srt6
im trying to wait to show you guys pictures, were waiting on the shop that folds them for us to call and say they are ready, once we have them in hand welding everythign else and repressure checking (decking them if needed) will be a 1-2 day thing.
for the most part we can customize these pretty well to what you guys want, they will most likely be either polished or teflon coated in a choice of colors.
the logo's can be custom made (there will be a setup fee for the autcad drawings and cutting of them but it wont be crazy). somewhere on them will be our logo, we havent gotten that far yet tho. still finalizing the function before we do the form (the easy stuff)
also, the nitrous blow off plates were taken out of the design for now, they can absolutely be added if a customer wants them but to build them into every manifold we make would be a wasted extra built-in cost for the non-nitrous guys
btw, please dont rip us off i could have bought another crossfire with the amount of r&d into these so far
pretty pictures and pricing to come

Re: Aluminum Intake Manifolds for srt6
we saw ~34hp increase with our last prototypes, we'll have to see hwo the new ones do after we redesigned them for ease of install and to make them idiot-proof. the teflon coating should help also.
as with all the kits we make, everythign will be included, you wont have to be tracking down bolts/gaskets/ect...
thank you for the encouragement, i know these have taken us over a year now but it will be worth it. our plan is to get us all into the 11's this fall and help build the srt6 reputation/resale back up to better then 40% of their original retail value just 3 years ago - am i asking too much?
